Tiago Paiva, CEO and founder of Talkdesk, launched the company in 2011 after winning a hackathon. He grew Talkdesk into the global AI-first customer experience automation company it is today. In 2024, Paiva was named Best AI Company CEO by AI Breakthrough and was honored by Goldman Sachs as one of the Most Exceptional Entrepreneurs. He holds a master’s in computer and electrical engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico.
Munil Shah
Chief Technology Officer
As CTO of Talkdesk, Munil Shah brings 25+ years of experience leading product and engineering at public and high-growth private companies. He was formerly UiPath CTO, responsible for leading technology innovation across a broad portfolio of market-leading enterprise automation products. Shah also led engineering and product teams at Microsoft for Azure, Bing, and Windows. He holds a master’s in computer science from the University of Arizona.
Neville Letzerich
Chief Marketing Officer
Neville Letzerich is the CMO of Talkdesk, with 25+ years of experience in marketing and executive leadership. He was responsible for shaping and driving the global end-to-end marketing and sales enablement strategy for startups and Fortune 500 companies. Letzerich was formerly CMO at Cisco Security, Forescout, Virtru, Duo, Forcepoint, and HotSchedules. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Wake Forest University.
David Middler
Chief Legal Officer
As Talkdesk CLO, David Middler has extensive legal experience in the software tech sector. Formerly, he was EVP and general counsel at Ariba, guiding it from startup to IPO and then to its acquisition by SAP. He also served as CLO at Cloudera, leading it through IPO. Before leading legal teams at technology companies, Middler began his career in private practice. He graduated with high honors from UCLA before attending Law School at Stanford University.
Dr. Shauna Geraghty
Head of Global People and Talent
Shauna Geraghty, the first U.S. employee at Talkdesk, helped build its marketing and talent functions from the ground up. Since 2016, she’s helped scale the company to 1,500+ employees and now leads its strategic focus on attracting, retaining, and growing the best and brightest talent. Geraghty has a doctorate in clinical psychology from PGSP-Stanford PsyD Consortium.

Tom Reilly
Board Member
Tom Reilly joined the Talkdesk Board of Directors in February 2022. Formerly CEO of Cloudera and ArcSight (which he led through IPO and sale to HP), he also held executive roles at IBM and HP. Reilly has served on multiple enterprise software boards and holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering from UC Berkeley.
Josh Stein
Board Member
Josh Stein joined the Talkdesk Board in April 2015 and is a co-founder of Threshold. A former software founder, he also worked at BCG and Microsoft. He’s led investments in companies like Box, Twilio, Redfin, and Rippling. Stein has been named to Forbes’ Midas List three years in a row and received Deloitte’s Fast 500 Venture Capitalist of the Year award.
Brian Rose
Board Observer
Brian Rose is a managing director on Viking’s private equity team. He previously served as an investment analyst on Viking’s public equity team and was an associate at Bain Capital. He began his career at Bain & Company. Rose holds an MBA from Stanford, where he earned multiple honors, and a B.A. in economics from Harvard, graduating magna cum laude.
