Talkdesk and customer Evara Health named a ‘Best CX Deployment’ Finalist in CX Today’s CX Awards

PALO ALTO, Calif.—July 2, 2025—Talkdesk®, Inc. and customer Evara Health have been named a finalist in the ‘Best CX Deployment’ category in the CX Awards presented by CX Today. 

Now in its fourth year, the CX Awards is the global celebration of excellence in customer experience (CX) technology and innovation. The ‘Best CX Deployment’—a new category in 2025—highlights a technology provider and its customer for an implementation that delivered terrific customer, employee, and business outcomes.

Evara Health is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that has been a lifeline for underserved communities across Pinellas County, Florida, for over 40 years. With a mission to improve access to quality healthcare for all, Evara Health launched a transformative CX initiative, in partnership with Talkdesk, to modernize its contact center with the Talkdesk Healthcare Experience Cloud™.

Evara Health recognized that long wait times and limited remote capabilities were obstructing patients’ access to care. Introducing artificial intelligence (AI)-first capabilities and AI-powered virtual agents into Evara Health’s contact center gave patients multilingual access to scheduling, canceling, or rescheduling appointments without waiting on hold. Automation enables human agents to focus on more complex issues, ultimately improving care quality. Today, 54% of patient calls are handled within automated AI workflows, which dramatically reduce wait times and improve satisfaction by 120%.

Additionally, outbound engagement enabled Evara Health to proactively connect with patients who had missed appointments and offer tailored services, such as transportation or Medicaid re-enrollment. As a result, Evara Health was able to secure 30–40 rescheduled appointments daily for patients who otherwise might not have received care.
