Responsibilities:
- Build and lead the field sales organization in the APAC region
- Define sales goals with leadership team and implement processes, infrastructure and hiring to execute against set goals and quotas
- Create, cultivate and reward a culture of innovation, objectivity, purposeful contribution, and founder mindset within the organization
- Build, lead, develop, and coach a team of Sales Directors and sales account executives
- Execute against targets for an assigned territory by hiring and managing elite account executives
- Successfully manage account executives through ramping, training, and day-to-day activities.
- Drive continual progress for each individual on your team
- Become a SaaS expert with deep domain knowledge of Talkdesk products and services
- Accountable for accurate forecasting
- Create strategic plans to generate a strong pipeline, while meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Build and maintain business and executive relationships with prospects, clients, and partners - engage customers in jointly addressing business priorities and objectives that align with their business needs and timelines
- Collaborate with other departments to promote customer needs and create viable solutions
- Conduct web-based demos and develop materials necessary to accelerate customer acquisition
- Work closely with the Vice President of Sales in compiling sales reports, customer trends, and competitor information
Requirements:
- Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, problem solving, analytical, and solution selling skills
- 10+ years of sales experience in a B2B environment
- Minimum of 8 years in sales leadership positions
- Solid understanding and experience selling into enterprise accounts - must have a “Hunter” mindset with the ability to learn, adapt and improve constantly
- Prior success calling on executives in a highly competitive market
- Proficient with web-based demo software and tools
- Strong working knowledge of Salesforce
- SaaS and Communications experience highly preferred
- Experience and success with multi-year contracts exceeding $100K+ ARR
- Articulate, passionate and committed to success
- strong understanding of channel partnerships and strategic relationships
- Ability to travel 40% of the time
- Bachelor’s degree
