Talkdesk is looking for a Director of Engineering to lead its engineering team in Coimbra, Portugal. This team has built Talkdesk, a browser-based call center software solution, which is one of the fastest growing SaaS products in the world. This person will report to the VP of Engineering/CEO and will work alongside our CTO. The main responsibility of this person will be to build the team’s engineering plans and make sure they are executed on time and with the highest quality. This person will also be responsible for hiring additional team members and developing the current team.

You will join a team of passionate, talented engineers that are building innovative products that are used by our customers eight hours a day, five days a week. In this role, we are looking for an engineering leader that knows how to get the best from his team. You have a track record of working with engineering managers, engineers and senior management to introduce planning and processes to meet company goals.
