The first day of Opentalk18 is certainly one for the record books. After an amazing morning in which Nicolle Paradise challenged attendees to make a greater investment in understanding their employees and breakout sessions focused on topics such as building momentum for customer experience programs and cultivating customer loyalty, we revealed some amazing announcements during the Talkdesk keynote.

The first of the day’s many announcements? The news of an industry-first 100% Uptime SLA. As our CEO and Founder Tiago Paiva said in his keynote, “We’re not perfect, but we strive to be. More importantly, we want to show that what matters to our customers matters to us. If things don’t work, we’ll be responsible for it.”
Up next: A $10M Talkdesk Innovation Fund. We’re investing in our App Connect Community because we believe in its potential and importance to our customers. Through the Innovation Fund, Talkdesk will help App Connect partners advance their solutions.
Tiago continued with his announcements by making the following statement, “We’re all talking about AI; We’re seeing it’s application more often. The way Talkdesk sees AI is that it should be everywhere – in all of the little things that happen with your customers – it shouldn’t be this big thing that we try to sell to you… That brings me to our next announcement. It’s not just a product – it’s a way of thinking: it’s Talkdesk iQ.”
On the heels of that announcement, Charanya Kannan, VP of Product Development, shared seven new products that we’re powering with iQ.
